Course Information

This course includes the following topics: Introduction, Training Requirements, Definitions of and Guidelines for Operating Components of Waterjet Systems, General Overview, Waterjet Team, Personal Protective Equipment, PreOperating Procedures, Operational Procedures, Manual Shotgunning, Lancing and Moleing, Automated Equipment, Care and Maintenance of Equipment, Accidents and First Aid, and Conclusion. The Final Test is comprised of 50 questions from a bank of 51 questions. The passing score is 80%. Trainees that score between 60% and 79% will be given one automatic retake of the Final Test. 19HBFT is a prerequisite to the Field Verification (FV) classroom and hands-on training led by a WJTA Verified Trainer.
